Edward Maeder has organized and curated more than 80 exhibitions around the world. He was Curator of the LA County Museum of Art’s Department of Costumes and Textiles for 15 years. He was also a founding director of the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto. Maeder is a renowned artist and educator who has lectured everywhere from Cambridge to Switzerland. He has sewn and embroidered from a young age, and employs these techniques in his own work.
